Term 2 Reflection

Term 2 Reflection My Term 2 Highlights... This term i have had many highlights, the best ones are.. When i found out that i was going to be in the Year 8 Epro8 team because i was one of the not so many Year 8's that were picked to be in the team. Another one of my highlights were when we did the Otago Problem Solving Tests in Math Extension and i got 4/5 correct answers and they were very tricky questions.  My Term 2 Dislikes... My main dislike this term was when i did the IKAS Science Test because i knew not that much about science and did not understand any of the questions. My Term 2 Improvements... I have improved in my Geometry Math Learning Centers because i now understand angles, nets and so much more. I have also improved in my explanation writing because i have been using a lot more scientific and technical nouns. What i Now Need to Improve on in Term 3... Novel Study- An Elephant in the Garden

An Elephant in the Garden What was the climax of the novel? I think the climax of the novel was when they reached the end of their walk from Dresden and saw all of the tanks in front of them. Also when Marlene ran away. What were the major things which helped to resolve the plot? When they found Peter in the barn and when they came across the house that Hans and the Countess owned. Is the novel realistic/believable?Why? Yes. Because it was set in WW2. In the book it had the main events in the war for example the bombing of Dresden which made it more realistic. Would you recommend this novel to a friend? Now that I've read the novel i think i would because it was very interesting. Personally if i were to pick the book up in the library i would not choose to read it. Did this novel meet your expectations?Why? At the start i didn't have many expectations. Where I'm From I am from, the smell of freshly baked cakes and biscuits plus beautiful flowers from the garden, I am from the everlasting Tiki tours all around the countryside, north and south, I  am from summer BBQ's all year round, I am from Saturday morning soccer and early morning starts, I am from "that's not nice"! and "BEHAVE"!, I am from never-ending movie marathons and hot, buttery popcorn, I am from pictures and memories filling every room, I am from a family of smarty pants and know-it-all's, I am from a house full of lots of love and laughter <3
